This family run basement bar & venue was started with the goal of making everyone feel welcome. The regulars at Underbelly like to call it a polished dive bar – a place where chic décor is coupled with the grit of Pioneer Square and the Seattle Underground. Where classy cocktails are frequently served alongside a tall boy and a shot, and where customers feel comfortable whether they’re in a hoodie & jeans, dolled up for a night out, or sporting business attire.

Underbelly is an industry/neighborhood bar and has hosted the best burlesque show in town (Valtesse), local musicians and DJ’s, poetry readings, comedy nights, several pop-ups by local chefs (Dualidad and Grasslands BBQ to name a few) and local artists selling their wares.

We are a bar for the people, ALL the people. All we ask in return is that everyone adhere to our motto… “Be nice or fucking leave.”
